Solpath is an organization created specifically to develop solutions that improve foundation grants management processes and software systems. Solpath was founded in December 2005, and is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. Solpath is located in San Francisco, California and has received its IRS determination of 501(c)(3) public charity status.
Jason Ricci, Executive Director
Jason's work in interactive media combines the best of design and technology and remains on the leading edge of web-based applications. Jason has led the design and development of a wide range of online projects for many startups, established companies, and non-profits. His project references include: The Energy Foundation, The Packard Foundation, Case Foundation, The 100 People Foundation, Microsoft, Washington Mutual, Chase Manhattan, Compaq, Intel, Hewlett Packard, and Sony.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Art and Design degree from the School of Design at North Carolina State University. Additionally, he has an abundance of experience in strategy, research, user interface and application design, and programming. Jason has held leadership positions at Chipin.com, Enlighten, Simmedia Interactive, and Cardinal Communications and has devoted much of his time in the past few years to developing technology solutions for non-profits and foundations. When he's not at work, Jason spends his spare time working to bring Internet tools and technology to students and schools in Haiti.
Project Advisory Committee
An advisory committee was formed in March 2007 to guide Solpath's initial planning. This committee consists of a working group of staff from several philanthropic foundations attempting to understand better the technology issues and challenges facing grantmakers.
